The Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) recently completed a project on assessing the performance of distributed and regional best management practices (BMPs) for receiving-water protection. The algorithms developed or adapted for this project will be used in the development of the BMP Selection/Receiving Water Protection Toolbox to determine transport routing and delivery of pollutants to receiving waters. This summer, WERF also kicked off a project titled “Institutional Issues for Green–Gray Infrastructure Based on Integrated ‘One Water’ Management and Resource Recovery.”
