WEF Seeks Reviewers for Wet Weather Publication

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) Technical Practice Committee is looking for individuals willing to serve as reviewers for a WEF Special Publication titled Risk-Based Planning for Wet Weather. This update of the 2006 WEF Guide to Managing Peak Wet Weather Flows in Municipal Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems will serve as a fundamental framework for any updated U.S. Environmental Protection Agency sanitary sewer overflow and peak flow topics. It will also reflect the best current thinking, updated technologies, and proven management approaches on these issues.

The manual is set for publication in May. The project has already launched, and the first draft chapters will be ready for review in February. If you are interested in participating as a reviewer, please e-mail WEF Project Manager Britt Sheinbaum at bsheinbaum@wef.org.
