The Chesapeake Water Environment Association (CWEA) is looking for speakers to share their knowledge and expertise at an upcoming stormwater seminar on April 16 in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. This two-track event will cover municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) program startup. Topics such as program funding, capacity building, establishing stakeholder support, as well as data and asset management will help communities successfully implement MS4 programs. Speakers at the event also will cover lessons learned in low impact development design, including what makes effective stormwater controls, common failures, maintenance considerations, construction challenges, and common reasons for design plan rejection.

Interested speakers should submit an abstract describing their project or program by Jan. 30. Click here for more information, or email Bruce Jones at bjones@pennoni.com.
