Do you or someone you know construct, inspect or maintain green infrastructure, such as rain gardens, vegetated stormwater planter boxes and trenches, bioswales, green (or blue) roofs, pervious pavement, stormwater wetlands, rain barrels, cisterns, dry wells, etc.?

If so, please complete or forward the Job Task Analysis survey by May 18, 2016.

The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) and Water Environment Federation (WEF) are working together to develop the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP) for construction, inspection and maintenance workers. The goal of this program is to provide a nationally recognized credential for individuals who install, inspect, and maintain GI systems.

Your participation matters

Input from people actively working on green infrastructure projects is vital; such feedback provides validity evidence regarding the usefulness and appropriateness of the test scores to determine whether a candidate possesses the knowledge and skills needed to pass the NGICP Certification.

Your opinions will be combined with the input from other subject matter experts and will influence the final content – and the relative weighting of that content – included on the exam.

Thank you

To thank you for your time, NGICP will enter survey participants who complete the survey by May 18, 2016 into a drawing for a $100 AMEX gift card.

After you complete the survey, send an email to Emily Sherman at esherman@wef.org. In the Subject line, place “NGICP Survey Gift Card Drawing.” List your name in the body of the email.

NGICP will check to see that you completed the survey by May 18, 2016 and enter you into the drawing. The drawing will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016.  The winner will be notified by email.

Please forward this survey to those fit the background. The link to the survey and more information about the NGICP program can also be found at www.ngicp.org.
