Registration for the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) Stormwater Congress opened on March 31. The conference will be held in conjunction with WEFTEC® 2014, which will take place at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center September 27 through October 1. Again this year, the congress features a robust technical program coupled with the Stormwater Pavilion. The pavilion offers a concentrated space for stormwater exhibitors and will house the Stormwater Pavilion Theater where WEF will host short, interactive programming. Get a brief overview of this year’s technical program and workshops.
WEF also released on April 18 an exhibitor call for abstracts that includes several new options for exhibitors to get involved in stormwater programming, such as equipment demonstrations, lightening round presentations, and case study technical presentations. Selected stormwater exhibitor presentations will take place in the Stormwater Pavilion Theater. This year’s stormwater mobile session will focus on how communities can use manufactured treatment devices in stormwater management plans. During the mobile session, attendees will visit various vendors with an expert moderator who will facilitate discussion at each booth. The exhibitor call for abstracts closes on May 29 at 8 a.m. Eastern.
