The Climate Ready Estuaries program, a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) initiative to support climate change adaptation and awareness in National Estuary Program study areas, turned 5 in 2012. In January, EPA released a progress report for this program that highlights accomplishments during the last year. Also in January, the Climate Ready Estuaries program released a brief lessons learned document that covers ways to integrate climate change into regular activities, new tools, and coordination with other groups.
