The Water Environment Federation’s Students and Young Professionals Committee will host its fifth annual service project, “Bogging in the Big Easy.” The project, part of WEFTEC® 2012, will be held at the 526-ha (1300-ac) City Park in New Orleans, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The wetland construction project will help return vital recreation opportunities to New Orleans while enhancing wildlife habitat and providing stormwater management and water quality improvements.
