At the Rio+20 Conference, held June 20 to 22, the U.S. and Brazil announced a new website supporting the U.S.–Brazil Joint Initiative on Urban Sustainability. The goal of the initiative and the site is to increase investments and expand markets for clean technology and sustainable urban infrastructure. Browse the site by sectors, including water quality and water management, or by keys to enhancing sustainability: policy instruments, financial mechanisms, and example projects.
