Looking for a way to conduct planning-level analyses of stormwater best management practices? This Water Environment Research Foundation web seminar will provide an overview of and step-by-step tutorial session with the WERF BMP SELECT Version 2.0 model which was newly released in 2013. The SELECT model is a simple planning level tool that enables a stormwater manager to examine the effectiveness of alternative scenarios for controlling stormwater pollution and the whole life cost associated with each scenario. SELECT simulates the removal of total suspended solids, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and total zinc in extended detention basins, bioretention, wetlands, swales, permeable pavement, and filters. Results can assist users in estimating annual pollutant load reductions from BMPs and complying with TMDLs and other requirements. The tool is available for download at www.werf.org/select.

This event will be recorded for those who cannot make it to the live event.
